AFA Nederland

Anti Fascistische Actie (AFA) is een landelijk netwerk van lokale groepen en contacten. AFA werd in 1992 opgericht, naar aanleiding van de groei die georganiseerd extreemrechts toen doormaakte. Sindsdien heeft AFA zich ten doel gesteld racistische en fascistische partijen, groeperingen en tendensen te bestrijden en racistisch en verrechtsend overheidsbeleid aan de kaak te stellen.

Anti-fascist action (AFA) is a Dutch network of local groups and contacts. AFA started in 1992, because of a growing extreme-right organisation. Ever since, AFA has had as its goal to fight racist and fascist parties, groups and tendencies, and to criticise racist and right-wing government policies.

Boekwinkel Opstand

De Anarchistische Boekenwinkel Opstand is een ruimte in Den Haag waar je terecht kan voor anarchistische, antiautoritaire en revolutionaire literatuur. De Haagse anarchistische boekenwinkel Opstand is naast een boekenwinkel ook een plek om samen te komen en te discussiëren. Ook kun je altijd binnenlopen voor de laatste informatie over acties en voor koffie of thee. Naast boeken over tal van politieke thema’s kun je bij Opstand ook terecht voor magazines, stickers, posters en pamfletten om die vervolgens weer te verspreiden in de stad.

The anarchist bookshop Opstand is a space in Den Haag where everyone can get their anarchist, anti-authoritarian and revolutionary literature. The anarchist bookshop Opstand is also a place to gather and have discussions. You can always drop in for the newest information about actions or to have a cup of coffee or tea. Besides books on many different political subjects, you can also get your magazines, stickers, posters and brochures at Opstand as to spread them around the city.

Anarchistische Groep Amsterdam

De AGA is een groep mensen die samenwerken voor het creëren van oplossingen en alternatieven voor de problemen die zij tegenkomen op het werk, op school of ergens anders in de maatschappij. Uitgangspunt hierbij is het anarchisme. De AGA strijdt voor zelfbestuur en een wereld zonder uitbuiting of onderdrukking waarin geproduceerd wordt naar behoefte en niet voor winst.

The Anarchist Group Amsterdam is a group of people working together to come up with solutions and alternatives to the problems they experience at work, school or anywhere in society. The starting point for this is anarchism. The AGA fights to govern ourselves and a world without exploitation or oppression in which we produce only for need and not for profit.

ASEED Europe

ASEED Europe (Actie voor Solidariteit, Gelijkheid, Milieu en Diversiteit) is een internationale campagneorganisatie. Wij hechten belang aan het betrekken van jongeren in basisdemocratische activiteiten. ASEED Europe wil de structurele oorzaken van milieuproblemen en sociale onrechtvaardigheid aanpakken.

ASEED Europe (Action for Solidarity, Equality, Environment, and Diversity Europe) is an international campaigning organisation, giving importance to involving youth in direct democracy activities. ASEED Europe targets the structural causes of environmental destruction and social injustice.

Autonomen Brabant

Om maar meteen met de autonome deur in het huis van kapitaal en autoriteit te vallen: wij willen een andere wereld, en we vechten daar voor. We willen een andere wereld, omdat in deze wereld de winst, de manipulatie en de dwang regeren, met alle ellende van dien. Winstbejag maakt het leven kapot; manipulatie maakt mensen tot dingen; dwang houdt ons in het gareel, geweld zorgt ervoor dat we gehoorzamen, en dat de rijken hun rijkdommen behouden en zelfs uitbreiden – ten koste van ons en ten koste van elkaar, via concurrentie en oorlog.

To open the autonomous door in the house of capital and authority: we want another world, and we fight for it. We want another world, because in this world profit, manipulation and coercion reign supreme, and all the misery it brings with it. Striving for profit destroys life; manipulation turns people into things; coercion pushes us in line, violence makes us obey, and ensures the rich keep or accumulate their property – making us pay, through each other, competition and war.

Book Café the Barricade

De Barricade is een vrijwillig collectief geïnspireerd door wasberen en anarchisme. Elke zondag van 4 in de middag tot 11 in de avond doen we er alles aan om deze kapitalistische maatschappij waarin we leven tegen te gaan door open te zijn als sociale ruimte met een openbare bibliotheek en anti-voedselverspilling keuken.

The Barricade is a volunteer-run collective inspired by raccoons and anarchism. Every Sunday from 4pm to 11pm we do what we can to oppose this capitalist society we live in by being open as a social space with a public library and an anti-foodwaste kitchen.

Fort van Sjakoo

Boekhandel het Fort van Sjakoo is sinds 1977 gevestigd in het centrum van Amsterdam. Oorspronkelijk in een gekraakt woon-werkpand, op het tracé van een geplande snelweg dwars door de Nieuwmarkt-buurt, en sinds 1988 gelegaliseerd.

Bookshop “het Fort van Sjakoo” is since 1977 situated in the center of Amsterdam. At first in a squatted house on the site of a planned highway through the inner-city and since 1988 legalized.

Mad Pride

Een grote groep mensen wordt in onze maatschappij als “gek” afgeschilderd. Die kwalificatie heeft meestal een negatieve lading. Mad Pride is een internationale beweging van “gekken” en hun bondgenoten, die zich verzet tegen deze negatieve houding tegen mensen, die “anders” zijn. Wij zijn er trots op, dat we zo zijn als we zijn, en claimen het recht om anders te zijn, zonder dan meteen als tweederangs burgers te worden beschouwd.

A big group of people is declared “crazy” in our society. This qualification usually has a negative connotation. Mad Pride is an international movement of “crazy people” and their allies, who oppose this negative attitude towards people who are “different”. We are proud to be as we are, and claim the right to be different without immediately being seen as second-rank citizens.

Out Loud queer punks

Er is geen plek voor homofobie in punk, op het podium of voor die podia. De strijd die gestart is door de queercore beweging in de jaren tachtig is niet over tot we allemaal de vrijheid hebben om vrij en trots te leven. OUT LOUD is een collectief voor queers die niet in de mainstream wereld passen, voor de freaks, buitenbeentjes, voor glitterpunks en regenboogrockers. We houden van ruw, vies en luid.

There’s no place for homophobia in punk, on stages or in front of them. The battle started by the queercore movement in the eighties is not over until we all have the liberty to live free and proud. OUT LOUD is a collective for queers who don’t fit in to the mainstream world, for the freaks and outcasts, for the glitterpunks and rainbowrockers. We like it rough, dirty and loud.

Paper Jam is een collectief dat print voor activisten die proberen de wereld een betere plek te maken: dat wil zeggen dat wij strijden tegen het kapitalistisch globale imperium, seksisme, racisme, witte superioriteit, cis-hetero-patriarchale onderdrukking, uitsluiting van groepen mensen op basis van hun fysieke of mentale capaciteiten en ecocide.

Paper Jam collective prints for activists who try to change the world and make it a better place. This means that we fight against global capitalism, sexism, racism, white superiority, cis-hetero-patriachal oppression, ableism and ecocide.

Poortgebouw

In het Poortgebouw zit een gemeenschap waar mensen samen leven en werken. Dit is een sleutel element van de groep. De groep bestaat uit mensen van verschillende leeftijden, expertise gebieden, opleidingen en nationaliteiten. Wat hen verbindt is de wil om samen te leven als collectief in een maatschappij waar individualisme zich uitbreid. Het monumentale pand op de Kop van Zuid biedt huizen en de vrijheid om een persoonlijke werk- en woonruimte te hebben alsmede gemeenschappelijke ruimtes en spullen te delen. Voor meer dan 35 jaar heeft de vereniging Poortgebouw een platform geboden aan niet-commerciële kunst, muziek en debatten.

In the Poortgebouw resides a community association, where people live together and work together. This is a key element of the group. This group consists of people of various ages, from different fields of expertise, studies and nationalities. What connects them is the will to live together as a collective within a society where individualism seems to increase. The monumental building on the Kop van Zuid gives a residence and freedom to have a personal working and living space as well as sharing communal spaces and commodities. For over 35 years the association (vereniging) Poortgebouw has been able to provide a platform to non-commercial art, music, and debates.

De Vrije Bond is een verzameling van mensen die streven naar een andere samenleving. Een samenleving zonder hierarchieën, zonder onderdrukking en uitbuiting van mensen en dieren en zonder uitputting van het milieu. Een anarchistische samenleving, waarin op basis van gelijkheid met elkaar wordt omgegaan.

The anarchist federation is a collection of people who strive for another society. A society without hierarchies, without oppression and exploitation of people and animals, and without destruction of the enviornment. An anarchist society, which is based on equality.

Vrije Bond Amsterdam

Wij zijn de plaatselijke tak van de Vrije Bond in Amsterdam en omstreken. Het is een groep om anarchisten en hun projecten in Amsterdam en omstreken te verbinden, te ondersteunen en om een voedingsbodem te vormen voor nieuwe projecten.

We are a local branch of the anarchist federation for Amsterdam and surrounding areas. It is a group to connect anarchists and their projects in Amsterdam and surrounding areas, to support them and to create a basis for new projects.
